Faculty Success Reporting

Data has now been fully imported from Sedona, Banner, and Ramses for current faculty. There are a few cases where Sedona and Banner data intersected (i.e. Permanent Data, Degrees). In these cases, Banner was considered the system of record.

Additionally, grant data came from two sources, Ramses and Sedona.  Because of this, the grant related data may be replicated. To ensure the most data available to faculty, we have loaded Ramses and Sedona grant data into separate screens. The project team is coordinating the reporting needs and data management process with your Activity Insight Advisory Council member for each of the schools impacted by the grant data imported from Sedona.

Banner data

Banner data have been loaded into Activity Insight for current faculty. Beginning in January, Banner data will be updated on a nightly basis through an ITS supported web services integration. The data loaded from Banner will be displayed on the following screens:

Ramses data

Ramses data have been loaded into Activity Insight by Digital Measures. Ramses data will be imported on a periodic basis and as requested. This data can be found in the Contract, Fellowships, Grants, Sponsored Research and Other Activities – Imported Ramses Data screen.

Sedona data

Sedona data were imported into Activity Insight by Digital Measures through a one time conversion algorithm. The Bryan School of Business and Economics Sedona data were imported into Activity Insight in June 2018. Health and Human Services, the Jackson Library and the College of Arts and Sciences Sedona data were imported in October 2018. Sedona is no longer in use, and Sedona data is fully editable in Activity Insight.
