Faculty Personnel Services

Faculty Personnel Services is a part of the Office of the Provost and reports to the Senior Vice Provost. We provide personnel services to Faculty employees, a group of approximately 1,300 full and part-time individuals.

FACULTY PERSONNEL SERVICES IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Initiation of Faculty personnel reports to UNCG’s Board of Trustees and to the UNC Board of Governors
• Coordination of the faculty promotions and tenure process
• Payroll assignments for Faculty personnel
• Faculty personnel contract initiation
• Faculty personnel administration
• Consultation on personnel procedures and policies
• Maintenance of Faculty personnel files
• Verifications of Faculty employment
