In support of the advancement of research and creative scholarly activity on campus, UNCG supports the Research Assignment program. This program allows the awarding of a one-semester or academic year period for 9-month faculty (or a 6-month or 12-month period for 12-month faculty) during which the faculty member may focus on the advancement or completion of one or more scholarly activities.
