The Office of the Provost facilitates the appointment of foreign nationals to faculty, academic researcher, and, in some cases, EHRA administrative/instructional positions and provides hiring departments with essential support services. Faculty and EHRA Staff Immigration Services serves as liaison between the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and such government agencies at the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services office (USCIS).
University hiring departments who anticipate the employment of a foreign national applicant should contact Faculty and EHRA Staff Immigration Services as soon as possible to begin the work authorization sponsorship process.
