UNCG has partnered with eleven rural districts and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) to train 20 educators to serve as school leaders in high-needs, rural schools. The program, Principal Preparation for Excellence and Equity in Rural Schools (PPEERS) is funded by a $1.8 million grant from the North Carolina Alliance for School Leader Development.
