A screening of “Starving the Beast: The Battle to Disrupt and Reform America’s Public Universities”, a highly-acclaimed documentary film, will take place on Monday, January 30, 2017, in the UNCG Elliott University Center Auditorium.
Following the film, a panel of UNCG faculty and students will offer their responses and then join in a discussion with the audience, led by Gene Nichol. UNCG panelists will be Jen Feather, Joseph Graham, Joy Kelly, Wade Maki, and George Michel. Professor Nichol is Boyd Tinsley Distinguished Professor of Law at UNC-Chapel Hill and the principal faculty member from the UNC system interviewed in the movie.
