UNC General Administration is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the UNC Undergraduate Research Program Award, a newly-established mechanism to provide funding to universities or consortia of universities within the UNC System to support and enhance undergraduate research (UR) in the UNC system.
Undergraduate research, defined by the Council on Undergraduate Research as “an inquiry or investigation conducted by an undergraduate students that makes an original intellectual or creative contribution to the discipline,” is widely recognized as a high-impact practice. Multi-institutional collaboration is not required but is strongly encouraged.
UNCG’s internal deadline for proposals is 5:00pm on November 17.
