Responsibilities: **This position is open to Current UNCG employees only.** Project Coordinator A research project coordinator position is available through The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Department of Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS). HDFS is a graduate level program within the School of Human and Environmental Sciences at UNCG. The faculty is active in teaching and research. The individual hired for this research-oriented position will serve as the project coordinator and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a federally funded research project. The project is underway and will follow 250 mothers and infants from the prenatal period through the first year of life. Data collection techniques include surveys, structured interviews, and behavioral observations in the laboratory and in participants’ homes. The project coordinator will train and supervise staff (graduate and undergraduate students and administrative staff); develop, coordinate and plan research activities; engage in data collection; reconcile the budget; and prepare annual reports for the funder. This person will also engage in the analysis and publication of data collected during the project. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include: 1) a M.A. in Human Development and Family Studies or a related field; 2) knowledge of research/data management procedures; and 3) good quantitative skills. Prior experience with research projects and grants management is preferred.
