Latin American History

Latin America: The Department of History at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Latin American History exclusive of the Caribbean to begin on August 1, 2010.

Qualifications:
Candidates must hold or anticipate a Ph.D. in history by August 1, 2010. Evidence of scholarly potential is required. Area (excluding the Caribbean) and chronological expertise are open, but the successful candidate will teach the survey courses in colonial and post-independence Latin America, prepare upper-level classes in her/his area of specialization, and be active in research and publication.
