The Gerontology Program in The Graduate School at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro has an open-rank tenure-track position available August, 2008. We seek a social scientist to continue development of a transdisciplinary gerontology program with a focus on business and aging. The Program offers a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate, a Master of Science degree, and a combined Master of Science in Gerontology and Master of Business Administration.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a doctorate in gerontology, business, political science, sociology, or a related field. The candidate should demonstrate evidence of substantial research, teaching, and scholarship in business and aging. The candidate also will have strong methodological skills, a background in team research, and commitment to advancing the UNCG Gerontology Research Network (the new university-wide faculty research initiative in aging). Successful experience in seeking external funding is desired.

Deadline:
Review will begin on February 29, 2008 and continue until filled.
