Assistant Director – Research Analyst/Academic Advisor
Student Academic Services

Student Academic Services at UNCG seeks an assistant director for a full-time, 12-month position.

This position’s primary responsibilities involve coordinating the evaluation and assessment of Student Academic Services’ student success initiatives, working with program coordinators to develop and implement evaluation plans, conducting data collection and analysis, preparing research reports for a variety of campus audiences, teaching first-year experience and academic success courses, and advising undergraduates regarding academic policies, degree requirements, and satisfactory academic progress.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a master’s degree in a relevant field such as assessment and evaluation, academic services, student development, or similar professional or social science discipline. Applicants should have experience with project management and a working knowledge of technology use in supporting student persistence, and the ability to work collaboratively as a team member within the department to assess program effectiveness and provide data for the department to make informed decisions.
