Responsibilities: The University of North Carolina at Greensboro LECTURERS/VISITING FACULTY/CLINICAL FACULTY/RESEARCH SCIENTISTS OR POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWS The Positions The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) occasionally seeks applicants for full-time, term appointments as lecturers, visiting faculty, visiting professional librarians, clinical faculty (School of Nursing, School of Education), academic professional track (School of Health and Human Performance, School of Human Environmental Sciences), research scientists, program associates (non-academic units), or postdoctoral fellows. These are non-tenure-track appointments that include the possibility of renewal based on factors including, but not limited to, continued need, satisfactory performance, and availability of funding. The positions may be day or evening. In many cases, the minimum degree required is the doctorate or terminal degree; the Master’s degree may be appropriate in other instances, based on the requirements of the position. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an academic setting that is ethnically/culturally diverse is highly desirable.
