Employment Opportunities at other UNC Institutions

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is committed to equality of employment opportunity and does not discriminate against applicants or employees based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or creed. Moreover, The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is committed to recruitment and advancing women and minorities at all faculty/staff levels.

A note to prospective employees:

The University of North Carolina has an outstanding faculty, staff and student body in which we take great pride. We also take pride on the exceptionally productive and collegial environment in which we work. Because UNCG places such a high value on our faculty and staff and because an environment of ethical behavior and mutual respect is so important to us, we require new employees to release backgound information to us. Any applicant who is not currently a UNCG employee and has been selected as the final candidate for any position at UNCG that is to assume duties on or after January 1, 2008 is subject to a criminal history background check. Additional credit history and driving history checks may also be required dependent upon the nature of the job responsibilities. Any offer of employment at UNCG is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory background check report; however, the existence of a criminal history does not necessarily preclude employment at UNCG. The University will consider on a case-by-case basis whether the results of a background check render a candidate ineligible for employment.
