EPA Human Resources
Welcome!
EPA Human Resources is a part of the Office of the Provost and reports to the Vice Provost. We provide personnel services to the EPA (Exempt from the State Personnel Act) employees, a group of approximately 1,300 full and part-time individuals. The population served consists of all faculty, senior academic and administrative officers of the University, and most director level personnel closely associated with the academic and research mission of the institution. This population includes EPA personnel in all campus divisions.
EPA Human Resources is responsible for the following:
- Initiation of EPA personnel reports to UNCG’s Board of Trustees and to the UNC Board of Governors
- Coordination of the faculty promotions and tenure process
- Payroll assignments for EPA personnel
- EPA personnel contract initiation
- EPA personnel administration
- Consultation on personnel procedures and policies
- Maintenance of EPA employment opportunities website
- Maintenance all EPA personnel files
- Verifications of EPA employment
